  • Bahaa Sultan is an Egyptian singer born in Cairo, in 1980. After finishing his high school studies, he joined the Cairo Music College, where he met the artist Mustapha Kamel. The latter, introduced him to the Producer Nasr Mahrouss.

Mahrouss is known for being a professional producer who collaborates with artists with already built up career. Nevertheless, he gave Bahaa an opportunity. He produced for him two albums, with other artists in the years 1998 and 2000. In the first album Bahaa sang “Ehlef” written by Mustapha Kamal, and in the second album he sang the hit single “Bynna”.

In 2000, Bahaa released his first solo album “Yalli Mechi” which was very successful among youth and young audiences. The album sold more than a million copies. His second album “3 Dakayek” was released in 2001 followed by a third one “Oum Oukaf”, in 2003. His last one was “Kan Zaman”.

At some point, Bahaa had a disagreement with Free Music productions and Nasr Mahrous. But they signed again a five year deal and they agreed to produce 3 albums to end their financial problems.

Bahaa Sultan is considered the only Arab artist, after Amr Diab, to have his single used in a Western movie. The French director Isild le Besco included Bahaa‘s song “Yalli Bayea” in her movie “Demi –Tarif”.

Bahaa is considered as one of the very successful artists who possesses a brilliant voice even though he is having slight problems with his career.
